1) Exchange, Refund, and Return Policy
Our exchange, refund, and return policy aims to provide our customers with full security regarding the products purchased in our store. Our commitment is to ensure total satisfaction with every purchase made in our online boutique. Therefore, all our products undergo strict quality control before being shipped. All our products are covered by a warranty against manufacturing defects in accordance with applicable consumer protection guidelines and our policies below.
If you have received a damaged item, a defective item, or the wrong product, we will gladly exchange it at no extra cost. Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order.
Note (Defects/Claims): The mentioned 48-hour deadline is used to ensure rapid processing of obvious transport or picking errors. This does not affect your statutory rights regarding manufacturing defects.

In cases where we face operational or logistical challenges that affect our ability to process returns effectively and within usual timeframes (such as natural disasters or unforeseen events affecting infrastructure), we may need to postpone the processing of return requests.
Commitment to Alternative Solutions
We want to assure our customers that even under difficult conditions, we are committed to finding viable solutions. This may include offering store credits, extending return deadlines, or other options to minimize inconvenience.
Transparent Communication
In any case where we are unable to process returns according to normal standards, we will communicate proactively with affected customers to provide realistic estimates for resolution.
Limited Right of Refusal
Our right to refuse or delay returns due to center issues is limited to extraordinary circumstances and will not be applied arbitrarily. We remain committed to fulfilling all legal obligations regarding defective or damaged products.
3) Conditions for Refund in Case of Damage/Error
If you have received a product with a manufacturing defect or a product different from what you ordered, please follow these steps:

Inform our team via email and send clear photos of the defective or incorrect product within 14 days of receipt.

Your claim will be evaluated, and if the issue is confirmed, you may choose one of the following:
Receive a full refund of the paid amount.
Receive a new identical product.
Receive a product of equivalent value.
Receive a store credit/gift card for future use.
4) Unclaimed Package Policy
If a customer does not collect their package and it remains unclaimed despite multiple reminders, the package may be marked as lost or abandoned by the carrier. In these cases, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund, as the package is not returned to our warehouse but is instead discarded or lost by the local postal service.
Important:
It is the customer's responsibility to collect their package in a timely manner.
We cannot process refunds for packages abandoned at the local post office.

5) Refund Conditions for Remorse/Cancellation
5.1 Cancellation Within 24 Hours
For cancellations made within 24 hours of purchase, please contact contact@amelies-boutique.com. Refunds will be processed within 5 business days.
Note: We reserve the right to refuse cancellation if the order has already been processed or shipped within our system, due to our rapid logistics cycle.
5.2 Returns After Delivery
Customers must contact contact@amelies-boutique.com within 14 days of receipt to request a return. To expedite the process, please include the reason for return and three photos showing:
The product in its entirety
The shipping label
The original packaging
The product must be in unused condition with no signs of wear and sent directly to our returns unit. Once received and inspected, the refund will be processed within 7 business days.
Responsibility: Returned orders remain the customer's responsibility until they reach our return address. Amélie’s Boutique is not responsible for loss or damage during return transit.
Per standard boutique policy, we are not legally obligated to provide exchanges for change of mind regarding color, size, or model once the item is used. However, we accept return requests provided they are sent within 14 days of delivery, excluding items such as underwear/swimwear.
The store is not responsible for any shipping fees associated with the return of an order.
6) Return Conditions and Exceptions
For hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns of underwear, swimwear, or other items that come into close contact with the body. Additionally, customized or personalized items cannot be returned.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, with all original tags and packaging intact. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.
All return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. Our central returns unit is located in Asia, and it is important to note that returns must be sent to this specific address. By completing a purchase at Amélie’s Boutique, you acknowledge and agree to these return procedures.
7) Reshipment Terms
When a customer chooses to have an order reshipped after an initial return or delivery issue, this new shipment cannot be returned unless it is received with a manufacturing defect not present previously.
